What are Lex & Fox Press products?
We create beautifully illustrated printable learning resources for children aged 2 to 12. Every page features botanical watercolour illustrations, no clip-art, ever. Our packs cover nature study, life cycles, world cultures, Montessori materials, literacy, numeracy, seasonal themes and more.
What format are your products?
All our products are delivered as instant-download PDF files. You download the file immediately after purchase and print it at home.
What do I need to print them?
A regular home printer and standard A4 or US Letter paper. Some activities look lovely on cardstock but it is not required. No special equipment or supplies needed.
What ages do you cover?
Our catalogue spans ages 2 to 12. Montessori materials suit ages 2 to 5, most nature and activity packs are designed for ages 4 to 7, and our growing 8 to 12 range covers deeper science and geography. Each product listing states its target age range.
Buying and downloading
Where do I buy your packs?
The Field Guide Year is available here by subscription. Every other pack is on our Etsy shop for now. You can browse categories on our Our Packs page and each links directly to Etsy.
How do I download my purchase?
For Etsy purchases, you can download your files immediately from your Etsy account under Purchases and Reviews. Etsy also sends a download link by email. For subscriptions on this site, your files appear in your Lex & Fox Press account and we email you a download link when each volume unlocks.
Can I re-download a product?
Yes. Etsy purchases remain available in your Etsy account permanently. Subscription volumes stay in your account here and can be downloaded up to 5 times per file. If you need more, message us and we will reset your limit.
Printing and use
Can I print the pages more than once?
Yes. You have a personal-use licence, which means you can reprint pages as many times as you like for your own children or your own single classroom.
Can I use this for more than one child?
Yes. Your subscription covers your whole household. Print as many copies as you need for your own children.
Do I need to print in colour?
Colour gives the best experience since every page features botanical watercolour illustrations. Most activity pages (tracing, handwriting, numeracy) work fine in black and white. Nature study and art pages are best in colour.
Can I share the files with friends or other families?
No. Your licence is for personal or single-classroom use only. Please do not redistribute, forward or upload the files. If friends love your pack, please send them our way. We would appreciate it.
Can I use your products in my school or co-op?
A single-classroom teacher may use them for their own class. If you need a multi-classroom or whole-school licence, please contact us and we will work something out.

What is the Nature Explorer Starter Pack?
It is a free 5-page sampler featuring some of our most-loved nature activities. Designed for ages 3 to 7.
How do I get it?
Sign up with your email on our Free Pack page. We will send it straight to your inbox.
What happens after I sign up?
You will receive one email per week with a nature-study idea and a free printable activity, plus occasional news about new packs. No spam. Unsubscribe anytime.
The Field Guide Year
What is the Field Guide Year?
A complete nature-based curriculum for ages 4 to 7. Twelve monthly volumes, 543 pages, covering literacy, numeracy, science, art, nature study and social-emotional learning, all in our botanical watercolour style.
How does it work?
One 42-page volume arrives each month. Print it at home. Weekly rhythm cards guide you through 20 minutes a day, Monday to Thursday, with a nature walk on Friday.
Is it available now?
It is open now. Subscribe from $9.97 a month on our Field Guide Year page.
Is this a religious curriculum?
No. The Field Guide Year is entirely secular. It covers science, nature, art, literacy and numeracy without any religious content.
Subscriptions
How does the subscription work?
You choose monthly at $9.97 or the full year at $67. The current month's volume appears in your account straight away. On the 1st of every month after that, the next volume unlocks and we send you a link.
Which volume do I get first?
The month you are in. The pages follow the season, so a March subscriber starts on March. Earlier volumes (September through January) are available individually on our Etsy shop.
How do I cancel?
Sign in to your account and cancel there in two clicks. No email needed. You will not be charged again and everything you have already received stays in your account.
Can I pause instead?
Yes. Pausing holds your subscription without charging you, and you can restart whenever suits. Both options sit in your account.
What if I miss a month?
If your subscription is active, your volume unlocks on the 1st and stays in your account. You do not need to download it immediately. If your subscription was paused or cancelled during a month, you will not receive that month's volume automatically.
Do I get a refund if I change my mind?
Because the files are downloadable immediately, we do not usually refund a volume once it has been accessed. If something has genuinely gone wrong, write to us and we will sort it out properly. Our full terms are on the Subscription Terms page.
What if my card fails?
We email you and try again automatically over the following few days. Your access stays open while that happens. Updating your card in your account fixes it instantly.
I did not receive my email.
Check your promotions or spam folder first, then add our address to your contacts. Whatever the email says, the volume is always in your account, so you never need the email to get your file.

We are a homeschooling family based in Dubai. Lex & Fox Press is the printable learning studio of Lex & Fox, our family-owned children's brand. We started by making resources for our own children and grew from there.
Do you sell anything physical?
Lex & Fox Press is our digital printables studio. Everything here is a downloadable PDF. Our sister brand, Lex & Fox (lexandfox.com), sells hands-on sensory play products and ships within the UAE.
